$10 Million
Constructing 21st century tech-friendly and accessible facilities that provide hands-on, experiential learning opportunities.
There is no greater investment than in the next generation. Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri develops and delivers relevant programs that help girls build the skills they will use to lead in their homes, our workplaces and our communities. GSEM’s $50 million Her Future is Our Future Campaign will help ensure that every girl in the eastern Missouri region has an opportunity to participate in Girl Scouts. Click HERE to read the full case for support.
We are excited about all that this campaign is making possible for our girls – capital improvements at our three camp properties; continuation and expansion of current programming as well as innovative new programming; scholarship assistance so that every girl has access to the Girl Scout leadership experience; and a significant investment in our endowment ensuring that Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri will be serving girls in our region for generations to come!
THANK YOU to everyone who has supported this campaign with time, talent and treasure! We are forever grateful for your investment.
We are extremely grateful to long-time Girl Scout supporter, Nance Frost, whose $2.5 Million “Dreaming Green” Challenge Match was instrumental in getting us to the Girl Scout green finish line. Nance has generously agreed to extend her challenge match and all new gifts and pledges (up to $500,000) made in support of the campaign through December 31, 2022 will be MATCHED dollar for dollar to put a big green Girl Scout bow on this already amazing gift for our girls!
After more than a decade, Bonnie Barczykowski, CEO of the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri, has announced she will leave Girl Scouts in January 2023.
Since joining Girl Scouts in 2012, Bonnie has helped expand membership opportunities for girls across the region, transform program experiences and engage community partners—all to match the dreams and ambitions of girls with the resources they need to be successful.
To celebrate Bonnie’s incredible legacy at GSEM, we are pleased to announce the establishment of the Bonnie B. Endowment Fund as part of the Her Future is Our Future campaign. This permanently restricted fund will help ensure that GSEM will be serving girls in our region for generations to come. We invite the community to join us in honoring Bonnie’s decade of leadership with a gift to the Bonnie B. Endowment Fund. As part of the campaign, all gifts and pledges (up to $500,000) will be generously matched by the Nance Frost “Dreaming Green” Challenge Match.
To celebrate your support of this one-of-a-kind campaign, a number of recognition opportunities are available at a variety of giving levels.
