Tribute and Memorials

Honor your loved one by placing a commemorative plaque on an established tree at one of our camp properties. Trees will be chosen in consultation with Girl Scout staff.

Plant a tree that will grow with the next generation of Girl Scouts. A new tree will be planted at one of our three camp properties and will feature a free-standing commemorative plaque to honor your loved one. Trees will be placed in consultation with Girl Scout staff.

Memorial benches will provide girls the opportunity to rest and take in the natural beauty of their surroundings at one of our camp properties. Benches will be purchased and placed in consultation with Girl Scout staff and will feature a memorial plaque.

Create a lasting tribute to your loved one through a biographical plaque placed on a Memorial Wall located in a central building at one of our camp properties or the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri Service Center. Memorial Wall plaques allow for customization that can include pictures, biographical information, and Girl Scout memories, creating a special and permanent honor for your loved one.

At this level you will have the opportunity to work with Girl Scout staff to create a meaningful art installation or place a free play structure at one of our camp properties in honor of your loved one. Girl Scout staff will consult with you to envision an installation that will bring joy to today’s Girl Scouts while celebrating your loved one for generations to come.

Opportunities for unique named recognition are available through ongoing capital projects, scholarship funds and endowments. Nature trails, sleeping units, lodges, and other shared spaces are all available to be named in honor of your loved one. Please contact Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri’s Fund Development Department to discuss current naming opportunities.
